What is ProStart?
ProStart is a nationwide program for high school students. From culinary techniques to management skills, ProStart's industry-driven curriculum provides real-world educational opportunities and builds practical skills and a foundation that will last a lifetime.
Why ProStart?
With national and local support from restaurant industry members, educators, an industry supported educational foundation. ProStart has a national Certificate of Achievement, which is an industry-recognized certificate. The National ProStart Invitational is a national competition between top ProStart students who placed first in their state competition. Annually, more than $1 million in scholarships are awarded to the top five culinary and management teams. All students who complete the program are eligible for ProStart scholarships and college credit. Nationally Standardized Educator Training and Certification opportunities include a wealth of support and best practices for educators.
